Sri G.S. rajagopalan, a dedicated Desika devotee of madurai presented me a few old issues of Sri desika SriSookthi SamrakshaNi, a monthly that was being published in 1940s. The journal was totally devoted to swami desika The issues are from the third year of publication. How long it survived may be known to seniors here. A few pages were alotted for ladies . I found one interesting article, an imaginary conversation between Srirangam ladies and the close friends of Sri desikan devikal.
