This is the first ever stotra grantha given by Sri Kulasekara Azhvar. "Stotra rathnam" was given by Sri Alavandar subsequently. Srimath thrutheeya brahma thanthra Swami of Sri Parakala Mutt, in " Guruparampara prabhavam " said that enjoying the "bhagavath guna", Sri Kulasekara Azhvar gave these anubhava in " Sri Mukundha Mala "( Bagavath gunangalai anubaviththu , samskruthamaana mukuntha maalaiyaalum, senthamizhaana perumal thirumozhiyaalum prakaasippiththaruli )Paramaikaanthis of yester-years, all women children learnt this " Sri Mukundha Mala " by heart ( manappaadam ). They recited this in their "gruhas " daily and also in the temples during " Pradhakshanam "Sri Kulasekarar is not only " Azhvar " but also " Perumal ".When reciting each sloka , hey, manase, you will melt like butter Ghusyate yasya nagare Ranga yathra dine dineTamaham shirasam vande Raajaanam KulasekaramInwhich city of a King drums sound saying " come, we can go to Srirangam" I prostrate with my head bowing before that King Kulasekara "Sri U.Ve. Muralidhar Rangaswamy who had spoken with adiyen from the U. S. was requested by me to send a copy of the posting on the 4th decad of " Perumal Thirumozhi ", as adiyen very much mooved by his elaboration , when adiyen told him about my loud-thinking of sending e--mailsto all of you, to recite " Sri Mukundha Mala " on the eve of " Thirunakshatram " of Sri Kulasekara Azhvar.
