Children - Our Greatest Wealth.

The Greatest Wealth we have to make our familes in particular and society at large, happier, healthier and peaceful, is "The Population of Our Children".

If we take proper care of our children , as our Elders did, we can ensure a balanced, peaceful, happy and satisfied life to the future generations and the society as a whole.

1. From childhood , we should make our children understand the treasure of our established tradition and culture which have survived many onslaughts and invasions to destroy them, by telling them suitable stories like Gajendra Moksham, Prahlada Charithram, Dhruva Charithram, Srimad Ramayanam, Mahabharatham and so on whenever we get time & opportunity. Children are very fond of listening to stories, which leaves lasting impression in their minds.

2. We ourselves should lead a life in such a way , the children follow us as examples when they grow up. Observance of Daily Rites like Sandhya Vandhanam , reciting slokas , doing Pujas, respecting elders, being soft spoken and celebraing festivals like Sri Rama Navami, Sri Krishna Jayanthi and so on telling them the essence of these festivals.

3. The most important thing that establishes Saathvik Way of life is the Food we take. We should ensure, not only that we take such good & healthy food, but also make our children take Saathvik Food as Prasadam of The Lord.

4. We should keep loudly chanting Lord's Names as a routine, which will result in Peaceful State of Mind and also inject this Greatest Form of Worshiping Lord in this Kali Yuga. This also makes us face life with equanimity and faith, under all circumstances.

We MUST invest our time and energy in the proper upbringing of our children , as this is the only investment which will always result in gain. All other efforts to amass material wealth may prove to be futile.

May Our Lord Krishna Bless us with The Strength to bring up our children in the right way.

firstly I would like to thank you for giving me an opportunity to go through your message.

In my view most of the present day parents themselves are less knowledged about

what has been mentioned in your article.

so they are to be taught rightly first of all.before they goin to their children; since

they haved encircled themselves with the thought of "IT and Software Engineer in multi national establishments". They nurture their children in that direction only due to which at later stages the sufferers are the children only.

so as we have been blessed by our acharyan similarly those parents too should

be showered by their acharyan's blessings.

Then only whatever has been mentioned in the article may come into action.

Lastly if any mistake has been found in my article kindly excuse me which is not

intended to hurt anyone.
