Guest guest
Rao, Magal Hello Krishna Bhakthas': I suggest that our first response to the Britannica should be the following: ( with an assumption that it was only unintentional error in the print): FIRST RESPONSE: * Write a letter, preferably from the president of VMS, identifying the error/s in the encyclopedia. Provide all the references and justifications for the factual information provided and suggest a re-write language to replace the objectionable material. It may be very appropriate and it would bring broader support for our response if we could coordinate our response with the Hare Krishna organization. Our response should be quick. If the Britannica response is not responsive to our comments, we should plan the second response which would be more forceful, and propose actions. In this response we should solicit other international organizations and well known personalities in academia, and religious leaders. Thanks for a lot of discussion on this subject, which shows that VMS is vibrant and contains concerned Krishna Bhakthas.
