Guest guest
Another small stOtra by shrI vAdirAja which can be sung in the morning. prAtassmarAmi vara kundala shObhigandam, shItamshu manadala mukham smita vArijAxam | AtAmra kamra muditAdhara bimba jr^imbha, dhyatr^i praharshakara hAsa rasam ramEsham || prAtarbhajAmi shubha koustubha kambu kanTham, sphItAtma vaxasi virAjita bhUrihAram | bhItasvabhakta bhayabhanjana pANipadmam, shAtOdarArpita jagadbharamabjanAbham || prAtarnamAmi shubha kinkini mEkhalAngam, pItAmbaram karikarOrumudArajAnum | dhAtAnghriyugma ruci ranjita kanja jAta, vAtAdidEva varamouLimaNim mukundam || vAdirAjayati prOktam shlOkatrayamidam sadA | prAtaHkAlE paThan martyassarva pApaiH pramucyatE || One obseravtaion that can be made here is that while the first adhyAya in shrI madhvAcAryA's dvAdasha stOtra begins with the description of Lord shrIhari's feet and concludes with that of His face, this stOtra begins with the description of Lord shrIhari's face and concludes with that of His feet. So if one sings first the first adhyAya in shrI madhvAcAryA's dvAdasha stOtra and then sings this stOtra, he will make one cycle of beginning with the description of Lord shrIhari's feet and ending with the description of Lord shrIhari's feet again.
