I am compiling a list of those going from New York City (and nearby areas). I intend using this information to create a ride-offering/ride-receiving exchange. For those without vehicles, please indicate whether you can and will drive. If you are neither offering a ride nor need one, we can still drive together in a " motorcade " fashion (hopefully, not that slow). We intend to leave on Saturday morning so that we reach Detroit in time for the concert in the evening. It takes about 7 hrs of driving from Corning to Detroit (via Canada). It takes about 8 hrs via Cleveland (all the driving in USA). People from NY/NJ/CT are welcome to our house the previous night (Friday) and rest, so that they don't have to cover all that driving from their area to Detroit in a single day. Corning is about 4 to 5 hrs from NY/NJ/CT. Please let us know how many are coming. We have a minivan and can accommodate three to four more persons.
