There is a new Michigan law effective May 24th, 1999 that all children must be secured with the seat belt and infants and toddlers in the car seat. Traffic cops can stop anyone just to check this. The owner of the vehicle will be ticketed with heavy penalty. You all will be traveling in the first week of the law, please observe this. 2. Please bring the sleeping bags with you just in case they are needed. 3. I do have the final count from the Washington DC area but I do not have the same for any other areas. Please let me know (maanasa) if you have decided to take part in this great event. Having this information will help us to organize the event better. 4. I know Dr. Bindu Madhavans, Mr. Srinivasans, and Dr. Vedavyasa Achars are coming. 5. Please let me know if you have any special requirements.
