In my submission yesterday, a few corrections and

additions are needed.

Para3. Add:upadesa of Ashtaksharamantra may be got

done from one's Vidya guru, or any vaishnava well

versed in shastras when one is no able to get it from

a 'yati' because of one's circumstances.

Para7.The last sentence should read as:

The name of the guru from whom one got initiated

should not be revealed to others.

Add:

para10. Married Women are eligible to get updesa of

Hrishna shadaksharamantra from a 'Yati'. They should

wear

'urdhva pundra' slit it,and wear kunkum,give 'arghya'

with the stotra' dhyea:h sada savitrumandala

madhyavartee Narayana:h ...',and then do the 'japa'

of'kriskhna mantra' with 'SRI' at both ends if they

are having the upadesa.
