Guest guest
Dear MAdhvas: Vasu Murthy asked me last night to clarify as to whether shrImadAcArya wrote 37 or 39 works. Here is the answer: It would be 39 works if you include NRsimhanakastuti and Tithinirn.aya. If you do not include NRsimhanakhastuti it would add up to 38 works. Now, all of you are familiar with NRsimhanakhastuti, so I will not bother explaining that. This leaves just Tithinirn.aya. This work was some 2 decades ago discovered by Pt. Bannanje Govindacharya in the manuscript collections of one of the 8 MaThas of UDupi. It is a work by shrImadAcArya on astrological mathematics and sheds light on the encyclopedic knowledge that the AcArya possessed in that field. So, it is 39 works in all! (upto now at least. God knows what future discoveries might lead to). Hari-VAyu smaran.a BN Hebbar
