About the Artist

Ms.Shyamala Bhave is one of the leading musicians of the country. She is one

of the few artists in India who has mastered both Karnatic and Hindustani

Classical Music. She is the recpient of many awards including the State

Sangeetha Nritya Academy award and also Rajyothsava Award. Presently she is

the chairperson of Sangeetha Nritya Academyof Govt. of Karnataka. She is

also heads Saraswathi Sangeetha Vidyalaya.

 

Mrs.Nagamani Srinath is one of the leading Kaarnatic Vocalists of the

country. She is also the recipient of many awards including the Madras Music

Academy Best musician award, Karnatraka Sangeetha Nritya Academy award and

Rajyothsava award. She is professor and Head of the Dept. of Music of Mysore

Govt. Maharani College, Mysore Univ. She is the secretary of the Sunada

Cultural Center, Mysore.

 

Dr. Suma Sudhindra is a renowned Veena player of the country. She is the

first female recipient of many awards including ‘Kalaimamani’ from Tamilnadu

Govt. She has been awarded the best veena player award from Madras Music

Academy. She is the Secretary of the prestigious Chowdaiah Memorial Hall and

runs Tarangini Arts Foundation in Bangalore.
