Here are the important public events during his visit. 10/16-Saturday- Children's conference. There are exciting, fun and educational activities planned for children aged 6-20. Smt. Rama Srinivasa Rao (seema.rao) has published the details. Please contact her for more details and information. Please tell your friends. This is an unique opportunity to introduce your children to madhva religious information and activities. Swamiji has conducted similar successful camps/conferences in India and he is very good at communicating with children at their level. 10/17-Sunday- Pooja in the Sri Shiva vishnu temple, Lanham MD in the morning followed by a lecture by swamiji and felicitation to swamiji on the 25th anniversary of his pIThArohaNa. We are planning to have a joyous celebratory function and honor swamiji and his accomplishments appropriately. We are planning to invite people from the embassy and other local dignitaries. 10/20- Wednesday- vijaya dashami and madhva jayanthi- Special poojas, pArAyaNAs and lectures are planned. Entire sumadhva vijaya pArAyaNa , shanti pATha and pArAyaNa of portions of sarva moola granthas, lectures on madhva philosophy are planned throughout the day. People are taking a day off to celebrate this function. People are planning to come from near by areas. We invite everybody to participate on this special occassion. Hosting arrangements will be made for out of town visitors for all these functions.
