Hundreds of devotees participated in the kanakabhisheka and offered GOLD, SILVER, and quarters. Speaking during the occasion, Swamiji said " The sun works on the sea water to convert the water into clouds. These clouds later come back to the earth as rain water. The salty sea water is not very useful for us but the transformed rain water is very useful for all living beings. Very similarly, we will accept all the offerings you have made to us and then use them inturn for your spiritual benefit and also to strengthen Vishwa Madhva Sangha " As per his words, swamiji has indicated that he would like to get all the silver converted into cash so that he can use it appropriately for all the projects he is undertaking. Through this mail, I wish to inform you all that I have with me around 250 Silver Coins (each weighing an ounce - from the US Mint) that were offered in the kanakAbhisheka.
