Guest guest
A few lines regarding the discussions. The one fundamental points regarding the difference in moksha between the Lord and jivas and between one Jiva and another. As regards the first it is known to all that even RamA,the ever liberated soul and His consort is still counting His qualities and the counting is never ending. So,the knowledge or Ananda of any individual soul cannotbe even a trfle of the Lords. certainly not 50% or95%. The second point is the difference between any two Jivas which is one of the basic concepts of Dvaita ,the same extending to Muktas as well.I do not think this is accepted by Visishtadvaita. This has been stressed by Srimadhvacharya in his Bhashya on BS3-3-52(Om Pragnantara prithaktva drishticha taduktam Om) where he states that the ananda of any mukta jiva is according to his 'yogyata' . The other point stressed by Srimadacharya is that no jiva can attain mukti by 'dvEsha' of the Lord . I presume Visistadvaita differs here from dvaita (ex. Sisupala). This is dealt with in detail in Sriman Nyayasudha. There are other differences as well between the two systems. While interpreting sloka 2-41 of Bg,Srimadacharya has stated that well thought knowledge is only one. We should therefore take the interpretations of Srimadacharyain whose name we are writing these articles irrespective of others arguments. Guest guest
Bid and sell for free at Auctions. Dear Jayakrishnan, Thanks for your response. I wrote on the subject with the intention that our members should know the correct position asper Srimadacharya's philosophy since a lot of discussion had gone into the subject . If Mani does not get a copy of it well and good because I am not interested in entering into a discussion with anybody. If my writing helps some of our members in getting the rightknowledgeI consider my efforts fruitful and submit them at the feet of the Lord. with best wishes, Bannur.R Jay Nelamangala <jay wrote: Hello Ramachandra Rao, Thanks for putting this email together for us. We can all learn tid-bits of shastra from these emails which I think is themain purpose of even entertaining a discussion like this one. But your email may not reach Mr. Mani who is not on the VMS list and so I request you to include his email in yourresponses. His email ID is mani.
