Guest guest Posted November 27, 1999 Report Share Posted November 27, 1999 Dear devotees, His Holiness Sri Puthige Swamiji arrived at Amman recently as a special invitee of World Conference of Religion and Peace (WCRP) to participate and address the 7th World Assembly on Religion and Peace. Sri Swamiji started from Houston on 21st Nov and arrived at Amman International Airport via Amsterdam along with 6 delegates. A warm welcome was given to Sri Swamiji by the representatives of WCRP and Indian Association of Amman. Later, the Indian Ambassador at Amman Sri H.C.S Dodi met Swamiji and briefed about Indian community activities at Amman, Jordan. Indian Association of Amman arranged Sri Krishna Puja yesterday and paid their honor to Swamiji. His Holiness is going to give a take-home message during the closing ceremony of the assembly.
