Sri Puttige Swamiji's 25th year of Peetarohana.

VMS group from Bay area will be falicitating Sri 108 Puttige Swamiji for

the 25th year of his Sanyasa Peetarohana. On this occasion Sri 108 Swamiji

will be offering the Kanakabhisheka (small gold flowers) to the Lord

Sri Vittala Devaru after the " Samsthana Pooja " . The gold flowers are already

purchased which are 108 in number. This function will be held in Shiva

Vishnu Temple, Livermore on 25th December which starts at 10 A.M. After this,

We will have " Abhisheka " to Sri 108 Puttige Swamiji with Silver

coins followed by Thirtha prasada.

 

We request all Hari Bhaktas to join in a big number, on this great occasion

and get the blessings of Sri HariVayuGurugalu. Hari Bhaktas who are

intertested in doing the " Kanakabhisheka " , Please contact Sri Sathya

or Sri Sheshagiri to register your Name, gothra and Nakshatra.

 

Also, VMS will be arranging Sri 108 Swamiji's Samsthana Thotilu Pooja at

Sunnyvale Temple on 26th Dec at 6:30 P.M. Thirtha Prasada will be provided

at both Livermore and Sunnyvale temple. We request all HariBhaktas to

gather and take the blessings of the Lord on both occasions.

Dear Haribhakta-s,

 

The fecilitation of Sri Puttige Swamiji was held yesterday at the Livermore

Hindu temple, following a very inspiring puja of Sri ViThala devaru by Sri

Swamiji. First Swamiji did the kanaka abisheka of Srikara devaru with

gold flowers and later the devotees did the abhisheka of Sri Swamiji with

the gold flowers. This was followed by the rajata abhisheka of Sri Swamiji

by the devotees to celebrate the 25 years of his peethaarohaNa. Devotees

from as far as Texas and Washington DC came for this function. After

the abhisheka, Sri Swamiji gave an inspiring speech where he gave

the credit for all his work to Sri Krishna and Srimad Acharya, truly in the

spirit of " na aham karta, hari karta... " .

 

As usual, the program concluded with a wonderful prasada which featured

some great bhajana-s by Sri Prasanna Krishna and Sri Hemachandra KS

(Krishna).
