Vishnusahasranama - 4 volume set in Kannada

Dear friends,

This book is published by Sri Palimaru Matha, Udupi and is not

generally available in Book stores outside. Limited copies are

still available at the original source, as I have ascertained

from the Swamiji Himself, who happens to be camping here. At my

request, he has kindly agreed to keep a few books with

Poornaprajna Samshodana Mandiram, in Bangalore, the organisation

that is publishing th Engilsh Thathvavada. The following details

are given for information :

Name : Vishnu Sahasranaama with Kannada Bhavartha.

4 volumes totalling 3400 pages. Each name is given its

own

meanings with Pramanas and commentary from the Swamiji in the

form of Jijnasa. Script Kannada only including quotes from

Sanskrit compositions.

Price $20 per volume - postage extra (may come to about

Rs 200

or so if sent by Regd post. per volume.

As this book is unique with no other effort having been

so far

made to collect the meanings of different names of Vishnu from

all authentic sources and may run out of print shortly, I am

copying this message to the general Dvaita List/VMS also for the

information of all. Even as it is, the fourth volume may not be

available in matching sets. If there is enough demand, I will

request the swamiji to arrange for a limited Reprint.

Subsequent to the above message which I had posted on the

Dvaitha list, the Swamiji has kindly arranged a few complete

sets in Bangalore. Any member of VMS who may be interested may

please advise the following ASAP.
