Swamiji called from Bombay and conveyed the message that he, his group and

all their luggage arrived safely as per schedule in Bombay. After a brief

stay for a couple of hours in Bombay for the pooja and theertha prasada,

they are proceeding to Udupi. Swamiji said that he would stay in touch with

us.

Sri Rammohan Kodancha, Swamiji's cook, arrived safely in Phoenix yesterday

night. Devotees in Phoenix had come together and initiated plans for

establishing a Temple there when Swamiji was there last week. They have

formed a committee and Swamiji had established procedures for daily worship.

Temporarily, daily worship are being offered in Shyam Sundar's house which

is open for the community. A decent amount of donations for this Temple was

realized during Swamiji's stay in Phoenix. Sri Kodancha will carry out the

functions of the temple priest/ cook temporarily for a few months until more

permanent arrangements can be made. The Temple is Sri Venkata Krishna

Temple, an unique Temple, having Sri Venkateswara and Sri Udupi Krishna.

As you can see, I have only sketchy information on Phoenix Temple so far.

Please contact either Sri Shyam Sunder or Sri Ramakrishna in Phoenix if you

need more info. Clearly, this is an exciting development directly arising

out of Swamiji's visit to Phoenix. Let us all pray and extend our support

to the efforts of our fellow devotees to establish the Temple in Phoenix.

Namaskara.
