Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji here at the local Puthige Matha (in Basavangudi) in Bangalore this Sunday (Jan 23rd), and witness yet another grand evening Totillu Pooje of Shri. Krishna. Shri. Prasannacharya and Ramadas Tantry were also present. Swamigalu was very happy to see my family and parent's. He We had a very brief discussion about His upcoming schedule and activities in India. He was very excited about the new temple project undertaken in Phoenix, AZ and also talked a few words about the Jordan trip. Shri. Prasannacharya asked me to convey the following to all VMS members:- Shri. Puthige Swamiji in Udupi: " His Holiness Shri. Shri. Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji reached Udupi via Bombay. He was greeted by senior citizens of Udupi including Shri. Bannanje Ramacharya, Shri. K.K.Pai, Dr. V.S.Acharya, Shri. Lakshminarga Alva, Shri. Kalbhavi VenkataRao, and hunderds of other devotees. All of them were very eager to hear from His Holiness. His Holiness narrated about the great devotion and faith of Indian American devotees towards Lord Shri. Krishna in detail. Swamiji invited the Paryaya Swamiji to His Matha and honored Him, and had prasadam with Him. Shri. Vishweshvara Theertha Swamiji (who is presently the Paryaya Swamiji) also invited His Holiness to participate in the Paryaya celebrations. After Paryaya, Swamiji came down to Bangalore for a few days. He invited Shri. N.A.P.S Rao and Shri. BinduMadhav Kerur, and had long discussions regarding the progress of the " Madhvacharya CDROM " project. Swamiji will be leaving back to Udupi on January 27th, and will oversee the construction work of the upcoming guest house in Udupi. During MadhwaNavami, Swamiji is scheduled to visit Dharmapuri to participate in the functions. From there, He is scheduled to leave for Delhi to perform " Prana-Prathistha " for the 48-feet tall Shri. Anjeneya Vigraha located on Airport Road. Thereafter, He will be going to Hardwar and RudraPrayag. He will be back in Udupi during the second week of March. His Holiness has sent Lord Krishna's blessings to all the VMS members and other devotees.
