Dear GV,

This is good work.

I would like to make just one or two points.

1. Ornaments. It is stated that if possible, each day

new ornament is to be presented to God;or, this may be

manasika. I have read that(I can't now quote from any

book) gold ornaments are to be treated always as new

and the same ornament offered each day. This is

possibly why ornaments even worn by someone are

accepted as presents to temples.

2. Yoghurt/curds.

I wish to make it clear that the yoghurt we get in

the market in USA is not desirable. Curds made at home

only should be used.

3. Fruits.

Normally only plantains are used. Others fruits like

mango are also used . Once I saw in a temple in USA

the archaka using the botteled fruit juice(orange

juice) for abhisheka. Hope my friends will certainly

avoid such things.

With best wishes,

Bannur.R
