Then one should walk round the Lord (pradhakshine Namaskara) & prostrate before Him with devotion. Vedic & other verses are to be recited praying the God to forgive & protect.

Then one should again sit on the alter (vEdhikA) and meditating Lord Hari repeat mUlamanthra hundred & eight times. This ensures completion of worship.

Holding a Tulasi in the hand thavanyAsa & mAthRukAnyAsa should be done to the God.

Meditating shrIhari, the hymn aathmAdhEvAnAm & yajJnyEna yajJnyam should be recited. then the beckoning Mudras should be shown in the opposite manner.

Repeating the words 'bhO: svAmin ehi' one should invite the God & place Him back in the heart. If the worship is for the benefit of others, the God should be placed back in the Sun or Agni.

Praying Sri Lord thus one should do thathvanyAsa & mAthRukAnyAsa for himself.

One should give thIRTha, gandha & prasAdha to a devotee of Vishnu & take them himself throughout thinking the image of God with devotion.

It will not be much difficult to learn & remember verses. With this idea, the method of worship described in thantrasAra has been versified here.

pramAdhathO nirOdhAdhvA harE: pUjA bhavEnna chEth

|| 123 ||

paTanAthpadhyamAlAyA: nara: pUjAphalam labhEth

Due to forgetting or due to some difficulty, if one did not perform the worship of God Sri Hari, then he would get the benefit of performing the worship by reciting this PadhyamAla

This useful work padhyamAla describing the method of worship according to thanthrasAra has been composed by Sri Jayatheertha. May Lord Vishnu be pleased always with this Service.
