Dear Friends,

 

As a follow up to Sri NAPS Rao's very recent input regarding the Srigalavaru

of the Balagaru Matha and the need for funds for carrying out renovations,

I have received so far 5 pledges of $100 each (including myself) and a

pledge for Rs. 5000 to be paid by the father of a USA based devotee

directly to the Balagaru Matha. All this adds upto a total of Rs 27,500 at

Rs 45 per dollar.

 

As Sri NAPS Rao had stated, these are the very rare occasions that the Lord

presents to us in our own lives for elevating ourselves spiritually by

recognizing and doing our humble service by our magnanimous support to these

humble causes, however small and insignificant our efforts and our actual

financial contributions be.

 

Please do not hold yourselves back. However small you wish to contribute is

perfectly o. k. Small drops make a flood and what more valuable thing can

you achieve with this money than surrendering this at the feet of the Lord?

 

In this country (USA), we take for granted and we even support conservation

programs in saving animals, birds etc from extinction and we witness

millions of dollars being spent on these programs. Should we not care

enough and extend our support, however little it may be, in saving our

little spiritual institutions from extinction in our motherland?
