Sri Vaadiraaja punya dhina

Dear haribhakthas,

 

March 23rd Thursday is the Aradhana day of Guru Shri Vadirajaru. Let

us all pray him to bless, with jnana, Bhakthi Vairaghya with a famous

shtothra known as Shri Vadiraja Kavacha. The story behind this sthothra

is as follows.

 

Shri Vadiraja's great tapas and extra ordinary yogic power was well

known to all of his disciples, as they have witnessed many miraculous

incidents. One of his disciple Shri Narayana Acharya has written few

volumes about Shri Vadiraja, narating his great powers. He has

requested Shri Rajaru to approve his works. Shri Vadiraja has agreed

for that and once while crossing the holy river Ganga, Shri Vaadiraaja

theertha asked Shri Narayana Acharya to submit his works. Shri

Vadirajaur went through all works one by one and simply put them all

in Ganga river, indicating that he don't want his real powers to be

made public. Then only the leaf containing the stothra " Shri Vadiraja

Kavacham " , came back floating. Shri Vadiraja agreed to publish that

one. Thus this sthothra is approved by Shri Vadiraja himself and he

will be highly pleased with this.
