Guest guest Posted March 27, 2000 Report Share Posted March 27, 2000 From Deccanherald dt. 3/27 Palimar Math seer's condition deteriorates MANIPAL, March 26 (PTI) The condition of renowned Sanskrit scholar and senior swamiji of Sri Palimar Math, Sri Vidyamanya Thirtha Swamiji has deteriorated over the last two days, Math sources said. Palimar Math is one of the famous eight historical maths in the temple town of Udupi. According to Palimar Maths sources, the 88-year old swamiji who has been ailing for last over a month due was responding to treatment and had shown some signs of improvement. However his condition worsened over last two days. Senior doctors from Kasturba Medical College (KMC) Manipal, and from Udupi are attending on the swamiji, they said.
