Cattles rescued.

Dear Haribhakthas,

 

Here is a news I would like to share with you all.

 

Recently a mini truck loaded with 15 cattles of all age groups was

heading towards butcher's place, in Udyavar, near Udupi. This was

noticed by some kind hearted people and was informed to police. To the

good luck of those cattles, police acted immediately and caught the

vechicle. The cattles were released from that ill fated truck.

 

Then police approached Udupi Krishna MaTha to take care of these

cattles. The authorities directed them to Shri Kamadhenu Gosamrakshana

Kendra, Hoovinakere. All these 15 cattles including a pregnent cow are

safely homed in the Gokendra and now they are safe and happy.

 

This is a bad as well as good news. Bad news for the fact that

such things are happening daily in the very holy place Udupi &

surrounding and only once in a while lucky cattles escape from the

horrible end. The only way we can prevent this is to provide them a

place for sheltering so that these cattles are not traded for paultry

sum.

 

With the generous contribution of you all, it has been possible

now to shelter these cows in the GOkendra and I am happy to say that

we could save 15 cows from butcher's hand. The care taker of the

gokendra has conveyed his heartfelt thanks to all those kind hearts for

their generous contribution with which these cows are being feeded now.

 

Shri H.H. Swamiji of Sode MaTha has conveyed his blessings and

given prasada and a small silver coin(with Udupi Krishna on one side

and Shri Vadirajaru on other side) to all those who donated for the

Gokendra. Shri Swamiji appreciated all donors for their keen interest

in the Gokendra activities.

 

I realised that I don't have the address of all the donors. So I am

hereby requesting all the donors to kindly reply to me

bgkvarna with their mailing address so that I can send the

prasad to all the donors. Please consider this as my personal request

with each one of the donors and get back to me with your mailing

address.
