Guest guest
Dear Krishna Bhakthas, Shri Raghunath Rao has given a wonderful description about Gopi Chandana. The name 'Gopi Chandan' is quite interesting. What 'Gopi' means / refers here? Does it refers to same 'Gopis' as in 'gopi-geetha'? And also 'chandan' refers something belonging to the class of sandal. Does this something that Gopis used to to decorate them selves or decorate Krishna? > >Gopichandana is nothing but a type of Gopi colour mud, in which Lord > Udipi krishna was inside, Brought from Malpe and broken at Udipi- ...... Also do we have any reference to this prior to the incidence of Krishna Idol in the mud at Malpe. Please enlighten us. Shri Hari Priyatham.
