Guest guest
hari sarvottamma, vaayu jiivottamma shrI gurubhyo namaha ESTABLISHMENT OF DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JEEVA & BRAHMA: (TATVATHO BHEDA, JEEVA BRAHMARA BHEDHA) Some Adhvaithies might say that though I am brahma, just at present that Brahma bhava has not become explicit for happening of which I should do karma. No doubt, this view may encourage one to fight. But this view cannot be accepted by adhvaithies in general for Brahma who is nirguna & svaprakasa, they do not accept a state of explicit appearance. 2. According to Advaitha to say that Brahma bhava of a person is not explicit at a time is also false. The nature of adhvaitha jnana is that a person always remains as brahma. Such awareness cannot encourage performance of svavarnashrama dharma. To say that Arjuna took part in the war because he was ajnane is very infair. He was taught the thathva by the Jagathguru Krishna with much affection. Krishna has called Arjuna as anagha, & also has said more than once that he was his devoted bhaktha, he is avathara of Indra, king of dhevathas in Bhagwatha Arjuna is considered as one among people who have crossed over dheva marga like sanaka madhava etc.. & secured the special favours of Krishna & got dhivya dhrushti & had the dharshana of Vishwaroopa such as outstanding jnani immediately after the upadesha of Krishna instead of gaining Brahma jnana, indulged in terrible killing Karma which according to adhvaitha Mithya, & not condusive to attain Mukthi. This shows Krishna taught Arjuna only dhvaitha & not advaitha. According to Dvaitha, it is in order to say that you should fight & kill the Kauravas who were enemies of God & his bhakthas. Dvaitha philosophy does not say that all the arishod vargas should be given up by root & branch. It is said you should have control over them & where necessary judiciously use them. For example, one should have Kama in good things anger against evil, hatred for giving Dhana to non deserving people, in god immense bhakthi (Moha) pride in calling himself as the servant of God (Dasanudhasa) & every envy against the prosperity of enemies of God. Since paramathma has come in the avathara of Krishna to rid off the bad people, the war at Kurushetra was a dharmayudhdha as a seva to paramathma. It was the duty of Arjuna to take part in the war & serve God. Since he got attachment for relatives & due to ignorance felt it was a sin to kill his own people (even though they were enemies of God). He was about to become a culprit, incur loss of punya & accumulation of sin. He surrendered himself to Krishna & begged for correct guidance. Krishna taught him the truth as following. Hey, Arjuna, I am parabrahma yourself & all the people who have assembled here are chethanas bound by past karma & the wish of paramathma. Jeevas are nithya by natures (svarupena) no jeeva is going to be killed by your arrows, so you need not feel sorry for them, their bodies are to be destroyed. They have joined a cruel man with intention of helping him, they have over stepped my order, they have become enemies of Vishnu & vaishna was. Therefore the punishment of destroying their bodies is to my liking. " Jahi Sathrum mahabahu " in case you have affection for them & do not kill them (like a person helping the criminal) you will also will become my enemy. If you kill them (like a loyal servant of the king that punishes the criminals) you will earn my love from which you have much profit. If you take part in your varnashrama dharma (war) submitting the result to Me & surrender yourself to Me, I will make you free from all sins, giving jnana etc... make you happy in a permanent position. I have no likes & dislikes. I award results (phala) according to their service. If you give up war, you will incur great losws. Using your entire physical power, killing the cruel people, you should submit the resulting punya phala to me " Kurushva madhorpanam " without disregarding my order but disregarding affection in cruel relative. Yuddha svavigatha Jvaraha " without any doubt of incurring any sin you should fight in the war. Such a teaching makes a person much more interested in doing the karma liked & ordered by Krishna. Question: Swamiji, has Sankaracharya said in his geetha bhasya that Karma parithyaga is proper. TO BE CONTINUED.................................................................
