residing in US.

Sri Madhwa Sangha established in 1980 has been conducting Gnana Karyas , as

one of the major activities of the Sangha. Among other activities , the

Sangha is conducting prostapadi Bagavatha and Sri Madhwa Navami on a grand

scale every year. In order to help the Brahmin fraternity at large to lead a

worthy life and to overcome the cycle of births and deaths, preachings of

great saints have assumed greater relevance and importance.

 

2. In this context, Sri Madhwa Sangha at Bellary is functioning with the

following objectives.

 

A} Conducting of Gnana Karyas throughout the year by inviting eminent

scholars and

pundits

B} To organise Aradhanas of great saints.

C} To inculcate and nurture our children know about Vedic heritage and

other daily rituals.

D} To setup and run a library consisting books of all schools of thought.

E} Assist deserving students from Brahmin community with grant of

scholarship.

F} Help destitute widows and orphans in their livley-hood.

 

3. Now the Sangha is contemplating to have a building of its own to ensure

a convenient place for housing its office and to carry on day to day

activities. This measure will also help expand its functions on a bigger

scale. It is a matter of gratitude that one of Haribhakthas -Smt. A. Shanta

Bai wife of Sri A. Raghupati Rao, has donated a plot in the prime area of

Satya Naryana Pet, Bellary, for this purpose. The first phase of the building

envisages an estimation of approximately Rs. 25.00 lakhs.

 

4. The Sangha has therefore decided to appeal all devotees, well wishers,

patrons and

others to whole-heartedly make generous contribution early completion of

this holy project. Please give us your mite and bless this noble and

spiritual venture to kindle lights in the hearts of thousands at Bellary.

 

5. The Sangha welcomes and values your suggestions too. Your contributions
