Guest guest
Friends, Srimad Bhagavata contains a geeta upadesha by Shri Krishna to Shri Uddhava in the eleventh canto. Within this Uddhava Geete, there is a part that is usually referred to as Avadhoota Geete. In this, Shri Krishna narrates an incident when Yadu Maharaja met a mendicant who seemed to be care free and happy. On being questioned about the source of his bliss, the Avadhoota says that he has 24 Gurus in nature that taught him all that he needed to know, and goes on to explain the lessons he learnt from Prakriti. In July of this year, Tara Prakashana requested Shri Bannanje Govindacharya and Shri Vidyabhushana to collaborate on a project to record this lesson for our community. Due to their kindness, Tara Prakashana was able to professionally produce a set of two cassettes that is entitled " Prakritiyinda Patha " , that has recital of Avadhoota Geete by Shri Vidyabhushana and pravachana by Shri Bannanje Govindacharya. The recital is in Samskrita and the pravachana is in Kannada. This product was released at the Ragigudda Temple in Bangalore by Shri Govindacharya and is being marketed by Hari Om Enterprises to the market in India. Today, on this happiest occasion of Shri Krishna Jayanti, Tara Prakashana is most pleased to offer this product to people outside India. If you would like a copy of these cassettes, please send an e-mail to tara (including your mailing address). The tapes will be mailed to you within a week. Sarvam Shri Krishnaarpanamastu.. P.R.
