Guest guest
Dear Friends, The Program (in the text as well as in the attached file) for the already announced Sathsangha in Sri Ragothama Thirtha Brindavana complex in Manampoondi near Thirukoilur on Sep 15-18 is given below . This has evolved after a lot of discussions among the participating scholars and we pray and hope this Sathsangha to be useful and memorable, by the Grace of Sri Hari, Vayu, Gurugalu. Arrangements have been made for accommodation and food for all the days of the Sathsangha. It is likely Sri Sathyathma Thirtharu and group will participate in this Sathsangha either from Sep 16 or from Sep 17. The other participating scholars giving lectures are Sri Prahaladacharya, Sri Ramachandracharya, Sri Sathyadhyanacharya, Sri Anandathirtha Nagasampige, Sri Malege Jayatheerthacharya. A group of ardent devotees of Sri Ragothama Rayaru and good experts in divine Devaranama singing in bhajan style from Madras is also participating. The overall theme for the Sathsangha is Bhagavata. There is an interesting Vakyarta on Anandaikarana on the last day. Topic for one talk is deliberately left open for the audience to decide at the time of the Sathsangha. Program is built in such a way providing for " total immersion " in spiritual pursuits, like lectures, poojas, devaranama samkirthanas, from dawn to night, giving ample opportunities for shravana, manana. It is also encouraged for participants to undertake " seva " to Sri Ragothama Thirtharu either for fullfilling any past owes or just as a spiritual offering to Sri Ragothama Thirtharu. This involves taking the sankalpa and observing the prescribed niyama nishtas, like taking shower both in the morning and evening, doing pradakshina namaskara to Sri Rayara Brindavana in the morning and evening, having food only once a day etc. I request the participants to confirm their participation giving their headcount. Please do so without delay. This is critical for moving ahead and to make sure of proper arrangements. Participants are requested to take care of transportation to and from Thirukoilur on their own. We are still evaluating arranging a charter bus at our expense from Madras. A devotee in the USA has also offered to undertake transportation expenses for the participants in need of this assistance. Please also note that Sri Sathyapramodha Thirtha Aradhane is on Sep 19 which will be performed by Swamiji in Thirukoilur. We are leaving for India on 31 August and may not be able to communicate by e-mail while in India. Our contact details in India are as follows. Sri G. S.
