Guest guest
A Prayer ******** yam brahmAvaruNendrarudramaruta:h stunvanti divyaistavai:h vEdai:h sangapadakramOpaniShadai:h gAyanti yam sAmagA:h DhyAnAvasThita tadgatEna manasA pashyanti yam yOginO YasyAntam na vidu:h surA:h suragaNA:h dEvAya tasmai nama:h This sloka states: I prostrate to that Lord (Narayana) whom Brahma,Rudra and other devatas pray with sacred hymns from the vedas, and upanishads and sing His glory; praying whom the rishis perform tapas with single-minded devotion and have His vision;and, whom the devatas and other devotees cannot comprehend fully. This prayer thus implies Vishnu sarvottamatva which is the 'mahatatparya' of all shastras. May He grant us the wisdom to follow this great philosophy of Srimadanandatirthabhagavatpadacharya and qualify for His grace. With best wishes, Bannur.R Post script: I shall be returning to India this weekend. I shall be in Bangalore and will be available on tel.no. 6583193. My E-mail remains the same.
