Dear Haribhakthas,

 

Today is the holy day of Ekadashi and Geetha Jayanthi day. This is the

best day to devote few minutes to Shri Hari and Geetha the message of

Shri Hari to the mankind. Geetha has inpired people from all walks of

life, all over the world and still contiuning to inspire. We are

really blessed by Shri Hari to get an opportunity to learn little

bit about this holy scripture, through various means like lectures,

class, web posting etc.

 

The very first wordings of Shri Krishna in Geetha, in a nutshell

conveys great message to us.

 

kutastvaa kashmalamida.n vishhame samupasthitam.h .

anaaryajushhTamasvargyamakiirtikaramarjuna .. 2\.2..

 

k{}laibyaM maa sma gamaH paartha naitattvayyupapadyate .

kshudra.n hR^idayadaurbalya.n tyak{}tvottishhTha para.ntapa .. 2\.3..

 

Shri Krishna is asking us how come we got into this state of deep

attachment to materilaistic world, being born as Madhvas and being

taught by great guru Shri Acharya, none other than Shri Mukhyaprana,

the greatest and purest soul, i.e jiivoththama.

 

Next, Shri Krishna consloes us not to loose heart thinking that we

can not get out of this samsara. There is a way out and we can really

achieve that.

 

Finally Shri Krishna shows us a way out to highest goal by asking us

throw away all the emotions & attachments and stand up determined &

concentrated to acheieve the highest truth.

 

These two stanzas give great inspiration, to all people at all

moments of depression or sufferings.

 

Let us all pray Shri Geethacharya to lead us in the path of Geetha.
