Guest guest
Dear Readers, namaste! SHREEMANNYAAYASUDHAASAARA (ENGLISH) (The quintessence of Anuvyaakhyaana and Shreemannyaayasudhaa) Shri Madhvacharya has written four commentaries on the Brahma Suutra of Shri Vedavyasa namely Bhashya, Anubhashya, Nyaayavivarana and Anuvyaakhyaana. Among them Anuvyaakhyaana is in the form of Shlokas (metrical form ) and it deals with philosophical and dialectical issues and discusses the sane in great depth. Shri Jayatheertha, the king among the Dvaita Spiritual masters who has written an elaborate commentary on the the Anuvyaakhyaana called Shreemannyaayasudhaa. This is regarded as the master piece among the all works of Dvaita Philosophy . This master piece being a polemical work written in terse Sanskrit with subtleties of dialectical arguments are not accessible to the lay-seekers. The great talented and scholar Shri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Shri pejavara Mutt, Udupi, having experienced deep routed pure essence of Shreemannyaayasudhaa, presented this through Shreemannyaayasudhaasaara book in Kannada with sole intention of giving the pleasure for the noble and the benefit for the virtuous souls. Shri Swamiji has made great efforts to simplify to the extent possible the essence of Anuvyaakhyaana and Shreemannyaayasudhaa in this Kannada Version. There is no spiritual topic, which is not included in this book. So far none has done such a marvelous work in Kannada in such a simple style. It is for the first first time that an attempt has been made to translate such a great monumental work in an authoritative manner with hairsplitting analysis, more importantly maintaining total consistency right from the beginning to the end of the text which is a special characteristic style of the swamiji. It was necessary to translate it into English in order to make it available to a wider circle of readers. Shri Gururaja Acharya has rendered the same in a simple and direct English. The language of philosophy is quite different and difficult from the ordinary language. The translator has to carefully understand the expressions of the original text and keep himself as close to the text as possible in translation without diluting or distorting the original subject matter. Shri Gururaja Acharya who is well-versed in Nyaya Vedantha ctc., has taken meticulous care to present this monumental work into simple and effective English . It is hoped that this authentic translated version will be widely welcomed by all sections of earnest pure-minded students of Vedantha. Copies can be had from Sri. Raghavendra Swami Mutt, T.nagar.
