Report on sathsanga - 14th Jan., 2001.

Dear HariBhakthas,

Namaskaragalu!

 

The sathasanga on the eve of uththarAyaNa parva kAla and

makara samkramaNa on 14th January, 2001 at the residence

of Smt. Manjula & Sri Diwakar Magadi was a grand success.

 

The programme started off with sthOthra paTana, followed by

a lecture from shrI Krishna Pandurangi on the importance of

uththarAyaNa parva kAla and makara samkramaNa. Sri Pandurangi

explained why some specific days are significant and how &

what should be observed on these significant days.

 

After the pravachana session, the devotees performed the pUja of

shrI hari vAyu gurugaLu and later on thIrTha prasAdha was served to

all the devotees.

Our special thanks to shrI Seshanna & all those who helped him

for preparing a delicious food, viz. bisi bELe - huggi - gojju -

pAyasa - bajji to name a few.

 

In the evening session, shrI Balu gave a lecture covering some

aspects from shrImadhbhAgavatha. He gave a brief sketch of

shrI bharatha chakravarthi and the samvAdha between jada bharatha

& rabhugaNa rAja.

 

The celebrations came to an end with a highly spiritual bhajana and

sarva samarpaNa.

 

We thank Smt. Manjula & ShrI Diwakar Magadi for hosting the event at

their residence. We pray shrI hari-vAyu-gurugaLu to fulfil all their

abhIShtas.

 

We are very grateful to all those who helped us make this

program a memorable one.

 

We pray shrI hari-vAyu-gurugaLu to bless all of us with j~JAna -

bhakthi - vairAgya.

navami at Livermore temple, Livermore.
