With the anugraha of shrI hari-vAyu-gurugaLu, the SVBM (shrI vyAsa bhajana mamdaLi) is proud to announce that the site is updated with a new work of shrI jagannATha dhAsaru - shrI thathvasuvvAli, on this auspicious day of maDhva navami. It could be called aNu-harikaThAmRuthasAra - a gist of his magnamopous shrImadhDharikaThAmRuthasAra. He has to his credit another great work, 'phalavidhubAldhudhake' which could be termed as aNu-thathvasuvvAli. The site would be updated with this work in the near future. A brief history of thathvasuvvAli. It is believed that this great work of shrI dhAsaru came up so as to provide solace & uplift his Daughter-in-law (heNNu - lady). As shrI Bannanje Govindhacharyaru says, heNNu means all those who are oriented towards ArThika prapamcha. So, this is the gramTha for all those who are merged in ArThika prapamcha, sukha, dhu:kha, etc. thereby forgetting the Indweller of all jIvAs shrI hari. Significance of the name: suvvAli -> vAli means ornament adorning ears. suvvAli means ornament which best adorns ears. So as to say, this gramTha is the best ornament for karnEmdhriya. It purifies the mind (mana) and other amtha:karaNas, thereby uplifting the jIva from samsAra and acts as a boat to cross this samsArAkhya ocean. There are more than one meaning for this title. We request u all to go thru this great work of shrI dhAsaru and invoke the blessings to shrI hari-vAyu-gurugaLu. thathvasuvvAli is categorized into the following topics : Subject No. of padhya's 1. shrI gaNapathi sthOthra 5 2. shrI navagraha sthOthra a) shrI sUryadhEvara sthuthi 3 b) shrI chamdhradhEvara sthuthi 3 c) shrI amgAraka sthuthi 3 d) shrI buDha sthuthi 3 e) shrI guru sthuthi 3 f) shrI shukra sthuthi 3 g) shrI shani sthuthi 5 3. shrI thulasI sthuthi 8 4. shrI mahadhEvara sthuthi 15 5. shrI prANadhEvara sthuthi 46 6. shrI braHmadhEvara sthuthi 9 7. shrI shrIbhUdhUrgA sthuthi 11 8. shrI rukmiNIvilAsa 19 9. shrI kRuShNa sthuthi 42 10. shrI dhashAvathAra sthOthra 11 11. shrI vEnkatEsha sthOthra 27 12. shrI shrInivAsa sthOthra 137 13. mAyAvAdha khamdana 27 14. shrI agnidhEvara sthOthra 7 15. suvvipadha (mamgaLa) 5 On this auspicious day, pl. go thru the topic 5, viz. shrI prANa dhEvara sthuthi.
