Guest guest
Hello Gopal varna Hope you are having a good time in California, since no one answered your question I will make an attempt, >>1) What is explanation for this kind of suffering due to nature's fury as per our " sasthra " ? What about those thousands of young and old who got crushed and died? << Shastra-s don't talk about EQ/drought & other natural calamities, how ever according to kala-chakra there are 3 types of pralaya 1) upa-pralaya 2) madyama pralaya 3) mahapralaya. I guess all natural calamities falls under the first category upa-pralaya. The reason i have no idea. Shastra-s only talk about how to reach Lord-hari in the path of Jnana, bhakti & viragya. I know finally i didn't anser ur question!! Sri-krishnarpanamastu rgds/prasad
Guest guest
Namaskara, It may not be good drag " sAstra " to earthquake. But as seeker of true knowledge, how we need to consider these things?. Do we need to consider as the part of Shri Hari's game and simply keep quiet? Do we continue with our discussions, discourses while the next village/city is burning with fire? I think in olden days people used to perform special pooja/homa for the welfare of world i.e. loka-kalyana. Don't we have any such things as a part of our duty or sadhana? Please pardon me if this is not appropriate to discuss in this forum. Guest guest
Hello Gopal!! >> Do we need to consider as the part of Shri Hari's game and simply keep quiet? Do we continue with our discussions, discourses while the next village/city is burning with fire?<< Intresting !! if you had a chance to listen to Bhagavatam there is one instance where during the discourse someone asked shuka muni who is the real devotee?, for that shuka muni replied that they will come to know soon during the discourse. It so happened during the discourse there was a fire in that village and people who gathered for the discourse started leaving to put-off the fire. Only parikshith maharaj didn't bother and continued to listen to the discourse. So Shuka muni through is yogic power set the fire off, later to the gathering he will tell parikshith maharaj is the real devotee. But I am not sure weather it is applicable to kaliyug??? sri-krishnarpanamastu rgds/prasad
