Guest guest
Dear Haribhakthas, Namaskaragalu. With the anugraha of shrI hari-vAyu-gurugaLu, shrI Madhvanavami was celebrated in Phoenix, Arizona (at the Hindu Temple of Arizona) on Saturday, February 3rd 2001. The day's activities started with Sri. Sumadhva-Vijaya PArAyanA by Sri. D. K. Subbannachar who is visiting Phoenix from Bangalore, India. Following that, the normal activities (AbhishekA of Lord VenkateshwarA) of the temple were carried out. Before MahA MangalArati, an hour long discourse on the life of Sri. MadhvAchAryA was beautifully rendered by Sri. Subbannachar. The devotees were exposed to a grand and vivid description of The AchArya's life-biography. This was followed by MahA MangalArati and Teertha-PrasAdA. The devotees expressed an interest that many more such discourses be organized in the future.
