Madhwa Navami celebrations at Connecticut Hindu temple

Dear Krishna Bhaktas,

 

Madhwa Navami was celebrated at the Sri Sathyanarayana Swami Temple

(http://www.cvhts.org) on Feb 3rd, Saturday. The day began with the

regular weekend program's at the temple - Sri Ganesha Abhishekam &

Sri Venkateshwara Suprabhata and abhishekam.

 

Following was the Madhwa Navami program:

- Sri Krishna Abhishekam with recitations of Sri Purusha Suktam, Sri

Suktam,Sri Narayana Suktam, Sri Vishnu Suktam, Bhu Suktam, Neela

Suktam, Durga Suktam, Sri Vishnu Sahasranama.

 

- Discussion of Sri. Madhwacharya's life and works, Significance of

Madhwa Navami day.

 

- Sri Hari Vayu Stuti parayana.

- Sri Dwadasha Stotra parayana.

- Maha Mangalarthi & MangalaSHtakam

- Theertha & Prasadam.

 

Many thanks to Dr. Ravi Rao for organizing the event and for all the

families who attended and made delicious lunch like Hayagriva and

other sweets. Thanks also to Temple committee and Sri. Ramachandra

Bhattar, the official priest of the temple in overseeing the program.
