It is on this day of Maagha sudhdha dvadhashi in the year 1480 A.D, Shri Lathvya chakravarthi, the R^uju-dhevatha next to Shri Vayu, came to earth in the village Hoovinakere, 30 K.Ms from Udupi, to bless all devotees. The life history of shri Vadiraaja guru is full of so many miraculous incidents and one has to study in detail to know little bit about Shri vadiraaja swamiji. Shri Vishwendra Tiirtha, the previous peetaadhipathi of Shri Sode maTha has written a beautiful mangalaastaka on shri Vadiraaja swamiji.
