Metlotsava is an annual event conducted by TTD (Tirumala Tirupathi Devastnamas), under the aegis of the Dasa Sahithya Project (DSP). This is a very unique event wherein DSP invites registered Bhajana Mandalis from different parts of the country to come and participate in an event lasting typically 3 to 4 days. This year Metlotsava was held from January 22nd to 24th. This program coincided with Sri Purandara dAsara Aradhane on 24th January. This year there were more than 120 Bhajana mandalis involving around four to five thousand devotees participated in this event, in addtion HH Sri VidhYadeesha ThIrth Swamiji of Palimaru MaTha, Udupi was present on all days adding a spiritual halo to the entire proceedings. Sri Appannacharya, Special Officer, DDP, TTD along with his colleagues, MaTadhipathis, Volunteers etc conducts this event in very divine and spiritual way.
