Friendship:

 

 

' He that is proven ready for the highest Good

By understanding fully what alone brings Peace

What should he do ? He should make himself Capable,

And straight, Yeah, most Upright; of gracious Speech,

Gentle, void of all Conceit of any self,

Contended too, and quickly satisfied,

Free of jobs, light and unburdended by worldly things.

Tranquil in senses, modest, humble and discreet,

Void of greed, when visiting the the folk.

Let him do no mean thing, as such would cause

wiser men to censure him.

 

Now let All Beings be Joyous and Safe,

May they dwell in Happiness !

Yeah, everything that breathes,

weak or strong, long or short,

big, fat or thin,

born or seeking birth, Yeah All !

May it be theirs to dwell in Happiness !

 

Let No-One decieve another, nor despise any other,

Whoever it may be, nor let him out of anger,

Or enmity desire another's ill,

Even as a mother watch over her child,

Her only child, as long as life do last,

Exactly so; let us for all beings, great or small,

Develop such a boundless heart and mind ... :-)

Yeah, let us practise love for all in this world,

Upward, downward, in front, in back, to all sides,

Unrestricted, free from any ill will nor trace of enmity.

 

If a friend remain with this extasy of Genuine Love,

whether standing or walking, even when he sits or rests,

So do he leave any slackness and men shall say:

The Perfected Life is seen within this Rule.

 

Keeping himself aloof of from any false view,

Walking in virtue, gifted with insight -

If such one suppress the urge for sensous joys -

Never ever shall such noble one return to any birth...'

Honourable Friends:

 

As you might know,

'I' have for some years wholehearted wished

to go forth as Bhikkhu on Sri Lanka, Island of The Dhamma

hopefully soon as my mind Scream for such forest silence.

However 'I' have to be deptless by promise first!

That is currently a minor obstruction for me
