Guest guest Posted May 7, 2001 Report Share Posted May 7, 2001 Namaskara, Sri Purandaradasara Aradhane was celebrated last saturday, May 5th 2001 at Sri Venkateshwara temple, Pittsburgh, PA. Here are the sequence of events that took place. 1. Pooja at around 8.30 am. 2. Welcome speech. 3. Group songs by kids. 4. A talk on 'Nava Bhakthi' by Dr Nagaraj Kotekal. 5. Group songs by elders. Some of them were 1) Eko Node Ranganathana putta padava 2) Hari kunida, namma hari kunida 3) Bhagya da Lakshmi baramma etc etc 6. Break for Lunch 7. Solo songs by elders and kids. About 200 people attended the function. In the evening there was a concert by Ms Sudha Raghunathan, one of her carnatic musical performances in North America.
