I request all of you in the near by areas to attend this concert. Please pass the word to your interested friends. The program will have a narrative in English and there will be translations of songs into English. Please inform your interested non-Kannada speaking friends. There will be a concert of Devara nAmAs along with some devotional songs in other languages by renowned South Indian Classical musician Smt. M.S.Sheela and party on Sunday February 13th between 4 - 8 PM in the Sri Shiva VishNu Temple, Lanham MD. The program will focus on the compositions of Haridasas of Karnataka and draw comparisons between Haridasas and other devotional composers in other languages. The program will be a combination of music and spirituality with super divine music of these composers sung in an inimitable style by Smt. M.S.Sheela along with explanations about the Haridasas and other composers and their compositions.
