Guest guest
Dear Haribhakthas, Today is Ashada Suddha pUrnima. This day is celebrated as a special day in Shri Sode maTa, known as " sarva shaakha samarpaNa " day. It is customary to offer all regular eatables to Lord and then have a good feast on this day. Only in Shri Sode maTa they follow this, as an exception to shakha Vratha. I heard that this has started from Shri Vadirajaru. The tradition is followed in Shri Krishna maTha also when Shri Sode swamiji is in paryaya pITha, and on that day there will be a grand lunch in chowki, not a shakha vratha lunch. I request scholars to narrate the relevent story/incident behind this tradition. Shri Krishnarpanamastu.
