Our program started with chanting suprabhata,sukta-s, vishnusahasranama, dwadashastotra & Dashavatrastuti. Sri galagali chanted a Shloka on sri-jayathirtha composed by sri-satyathirtha. Sri Galagali started his discourse on Sri-jayathirtha he explained why we madwa-s consider him as a great saint in kingdom of knoweledge. He explained all the works of Sri-jayathirtha and why he called as Tikarayaru. Sri Galagali gave a discourse on Sri-bhagavatam 4th skanda which explains the story of Druva Maharaj. What made druva to take the patha of penance and the process he went for 6months. Really the story drives anyone to get tears in their eyes. Sri-galagali's discourse went up to 2pm and we had thirtha prasada. In the afternoon till 5pm we had some good devaranama bhajan session. It was really a feast for all of us here at VMS Michigan.
