Dear Hari Bakthas,

On this auspicious Ekadasi day when the mind is on the Lord, in this holy

month of Shraavana, after many holy functions in this month, such as Sri

Rayara Aradhane, Sri Krishnaashtami, I am placing before you a book on

Sundarakanda Nirnaya by Sri Madhwacharya, as a part (7th chapter) of his

largest work, Mahabharatha Tatparya Nirnaya.

Just like the Anu Bhashya book that was very successfully promoted recently

in this forum, this book too was recently published and released by Sri

Madhwacharya Seva Sangha, Madras. A total of 500 copies had been printed

of which 50 copies are with me now for sale out side of India. Price per

copy is $5.

The cost of publishing the 500 copies, sambhavana to the scholarly

contributors to this book etc had already been fully met by a humble

contribution from the families of my brother Srinivasan (GV) and myself to

Sri Madhwacharya Seva Sangha, Madras. However, the total proceeds of sale

of each copy at a price of $5 per copy will be given to this seva

organization in Madras to promote further publication activities to continue

to bring out simple books in Madhwa philosophy.

This book (size 5.5 " X 8.5 " , 91 pages) contains 2 parts. Part-1 presents

50 slokas of Sundarakanta Nirnaya by Sri Madhwacharya, each sloka is given

in Sanskrit, Kannada, Telugu and Tamil, with commentary for each sloka in

English. Part-1 has 58 pages. The rest of 33 pages comprise Part-2,

titled as Vayusourabha and contain the following: Sri Mukhyapranashtakam in

Sanskrit by Sri Vadiraja Thirtha, Sri Yantrodharaka Mukhyaprana Stothra

(Sanskrit) by Sri Vyasathirtha, Sri Mukhyaprana Avayava Sthothra (Sanskrit)

from Narada Purana, Sri Mukhyaprana Devara Samkethaka Sandesa in Kannada by

Late Sri Vidyamaanya Thirtha, Sundarakandalli Hanumanthana Gunagalu in

Kannada by Sri Sagri Raghavendra Upadhyaya, Sundarakanda

Ramayana-Valmikiyalli mathu Nirnayadalli in Kannada by Sri Vidwan Hayavadana

Puranik, Hamsa Manthra in English by Dr. Venkatesh Achrya and Sri

Mukhyaprana Mahimai in Tamil by Sri Nagaraja Rao. Both Parts 1 and 2

comprise one single copy of the book.

Please send me an e-mail giving your home mailing address and I will mail

the book(s) to you. Your support means a lot to small and worthy projects

such as this project. Please make your checks payable to my name and mail

your checks to my home address given below.

If you are participating in Sri Rayara Aradhane (Sri Gururaja Rao's

function) in New York this Saturday (Aug 18) and if you need the book(s) and

inform me by e-mail, I will give the books to you in person in the

Aradhane.

Once again, thank you for your continued support.

Namaskaragalu.
