Guest guest
Hello All, I totally agree with what Mr.Vadiraj has said. Now that these 2 Mutts have fought beyond expectations, we, the ordinary people are the ones who've lost the sacred Moola Brindavana of Sri Narahari Theertha. Whoever may get that repaired, but what's the use, when that sacred place has been polluted by some anti-social elements, we'll definitely not get the " original " place for ever and ever. Regards, Sameer. ----Original Message Follows---- " Vadiraj " <skvadiraj Re: Re: Sri Narahari teertha's moola brundavan - attacked 18 Sep 2001 11:06:53 -0000 Namaskara, It's really sad to hear such a news. We,Madhwas could not protect the vrindavan of such a great saint, Narahari Tirtharu. Whatever it is,but the Uttaradi and RaghavendraSwamy mutt pontiffs are responsible for this incident.Because both the mutts fought for owning this place for many years in the court, spending a lot of money.Instead of that they could have come to terms on this issue long before and spend the same money for constructing a compound for the vrindavan of Narahari Tirtharu. My statements may hurt many, but this is the fact. Because of the ongoing quarrel between these two mutts today we were unable to protect the vrindavan of such a great saint. It is disgusting to hear that, Sri Narahari Trithara aradhana,is performed 1.5 days by uttaradi mutt and the rest by rayara mutt. The pontiffs of both mutts should come to terms ,we are the sufferers. Guest guest
Dear Friends, We all in the VMS community are extremely saddened over the mindless destruction of the holy vrindavana of Sri Narahari Thirtha. All of us are emotionally distressed over this sad news. While this incident is very much regrettable, VMS is definitely not a forum or a place for pointing fingers or passing accusations or levelling charges on any of our swamijis or mathas. All of us have the responsibilities to adhere to the accepted norms of decorum in conducting our discussions in this world-wide, open forum. Even very negative thoughts can be expressed in suitable positive ways so that we maintain our diginity in the public place. I do not think lack of any financial resources in India had led to leaving the moola vrindavana open for vandalism and our collecting money and sending over to India is not simply going to solve this problem. Deep, historically rooted issues are at play here and we can only pray to our Lord to show the way. Namaskaragalu Bindu GURUPRASAD [salesjbl] Tuesday, September 18, 2001 5:52 AM Vishwamadhvasangha Re: Sri Narahari teertha's moola brundavan - attacked Dear All We hear this news and more bad to know . As Mr Vadiraj has rightly said this is a result of irresponsibility of two pontniffs (regret & sorry.God forgive me! ) . When will they come out of such aham though they are swamijis??? Let us forget them and we should join together at VMS to contribute as much as possible to rebuild the vrindhavana/premises . If any similar thoughts are with you all, lets bring it down to a contribution box . Since iam in Saudi Arabia , I dont have contacts who is taking this responsibility to handover any such contributions and to whom. If any of you know kindly let me know also .
