Sri Narahari Teertha was Sri Madhvacharya's disciple. He has the credit of spreading the Acharya's philosophy starting from Andhra Pradesh to all the regions. The destruction of his sacred brundavana has shocked the entire Madhava community, the pontiff said. He also urged the government to take stringent action to nab the miscreants. All the devotees should co-operate for the reconstruction of the Brundavana at the same place and tight security should be provided, said the Swamiji hoping for commencement of the work at the earliest. CONDEMNED: Puttige Pontiff Sri Sugunendra Teertha Sri has also condemned the act in a press release stating that it was an horrendous act which has affected the entire society. The heinous act of breaking the hand of the Sasive Kaalu Ganapati at Hampi and other such acts have created a feeling of insecurity, the Samiji added.
