Sir,

 

Vishva Madhva Maha Parishat founded by His Holiness Shri 1008 Shri Shri Satyatma

Teertha Swamiji of Uttaradi Math. The Vishva Madhva Maha Parishat, is a

registered trust. Its main activities are social and charitable. The main

objects of the Trust are to promote, propagate and encourage Sanatan Indian

culture. The social objects of the Trust includes establishment of educational

institutions, to set up hospitals, dispensaries, also to encourage Ayurvedic and

Siddha medicine system, to render financial assistance like scholarships and

prizes to meritorious poor students, to set up homes for destitute and

orphanage, vriddhashrama and for providing medical relief and aid to the

suffering, poor and distressed persons.

 

The Belgaum branch of Vishva Madhva Maha Parishat was inaugurated with the

blessings of Shri 1008 Shri Shri Satyatma Teerth Swamiji of Uttaradi Math by

Pandit Shri jayatheerthacharya Malgi on 4th August' 2001, followed by a lecture

on " Sanatana Dharma " by Pandit Shri Madhvacharya Mokashi.

 

A free Blood Sugar Test was conducted as a first phase of social activities.

The trust has a plan to establish a well furnished Pathological Laboratory at an

estimated cost of Rs.15 lakhs to begin with followed by moderate hospital and

then a special hospital for Heart related diseases. The trust aims to establish

a Heart Foundation along with Medical Institute well equipped with all latest

modern facilities.

 

The Belgaum branch of Vishva Madhva Maha Parishat proposes to organize a " Gnyana

Satra " for Ten Days during second week of January' 2002. During " Gnyana

Satra " religious discourses by eminent pandits are being arranged. As a part of

social welfare activities free eye check up and medical camp are also being

arranged for the benefit of general public.

 

On this auspicious occasion the trust proposes to bring out a souvenir which

will have a wide circulation among the public.
