VMS is now registered as a 501c(3) charity agency in the US. Contributing thru United way will not put extra burden on you and also VMS will get steady automatic payments (mostly on a quarterly basis). Typically the administrative charges that United Way incurs are taken out of the corporate contribution provided your employer. So, when you file your United Way contribution form this year (typically in Oct-Nov), please consider designating your contribution to VMS in part or full.
