Dear Sri Natarajan, Dr. Srinivasa,

 

In appreciation of Sri SV Temple conducting Sri Narayana Ashtakshara Maha

Mantra Homa during the Memorial Day Weekend as part of the Silver Jubilee

Celebrations, Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji, Puthige Matha, Udupi

wishes to thank the authorities in the Temple for inviting him as the Chief

Diginitary for this function. In reciprocation, he would like to invite

you, your families, Chairman and members of Board of Directors,

President and members of Executive Committee, Chairman and members of

Religious Committee, Chairman and members of the Silver Jubilee

Celebrations Committee, all their families, as well as the volunteers,

priests and staff in the Temple and their families for his poojas,

theertha prasadas (dinner on May 26, lunch on May 27) in Murrysville

Community Center. Please communicate this to all concerned.

 

Swamiji also wishes to invite all the devotees and their families in

Pittsburgh area who had hosted his poojas/theertha prasadas in their homes

or met with him in the previous years. If Dr. Srinivasa could provide this

list with telephone numbers or e-mail addresses, we will communicate

Swamiji's invitation to all of them.

 

Swamiji will also be presenting to Lord Venkateshwara a specially made

peethaambara, pure silk vastra (more than 9 yards) and to Goddess

Padmavathi a silk saree at the time of his arrival and receiving the

traditional honors in the Temple on May 22. It would be nice if Lord

Venkateshwara (main deity in garba gruha) and Goddess Padmavathi are

decorated with these vastras and to remain on the deities till abiseka and

alankara (pullangi seva) on Sunday, May 26.

SWAMIJI'S POOJAS IN MURRYSVILLE COMMUNITY CENTER

 

May 26 (Sunday), 7:30 pm, Thottilu Pooja to Lord Krishna by Swamiji,

followed by dinner prepared by Swamiji's cooks from Udupi.

May 27 (Monday), 8:00 am, Maha pooja to Sri Panduranga Vittala by Swamiji,

followed by lunch (theertha prasada) prepared by Swamiji's cooks from Udupi.

 

DIRECTIONS

 

From Monroeville and points west:

 

Take route 22 east into Murrysville. Count the light that is at the

intersection of route 22 and Trafford Road as the first light. You will see

McDonals on the left. Travel about 1/10th of a mile and look for the Dunkin

Donuts on the left. The road on your right is Carson Street. Make a right

onto Carson Street. The Community Center is on the left, past the ball

field.

 

From the east:

 

Take route 22 west into Murrysville. Make left into Carson Street. Here,

Dunkins Donuts is on right and Yesterdays Books on left. Go past ball
